"Studio vibe was off"
I didn’t like the vibe at all. It felt cold and awkward the whole time, like nobody really cared if you were comfortable or not. I kept thinking, what a joke.

"Order Took Way Too Long"
I get that places get busy and I’m not trying to be unreasonable, but I waited forever for my order. At some point it starts to feel like you’ve been forgotten, and that was frustrating

"Safety info seemed fine, but I had to dig for it"
I did like that Rowan mentions trained nurses and sterile earrings, because that definitely made me feel a little better about booking. But i had to click around more than I expected to figure out the full safety steps and aftercare details. Maybe I’m just suspicious by nature, but when basic info isn’t super easy to find, my brain starts wondering why it’s tucked away like that. Overall it seems legit and probably fine, I just wish everything was laid out more clearly upfront. Not bad, just kind of average for me.

"Decent Membership, But I Felt a Bit Pressured"
The membership is okay overall, but it feels kind of pricey for what you get. I also felt a little pressured when deciding whether to sign up, which made the whole experience a bit uncomfortable.

"Warm and Welcoming... Not Exactly"
The nurse rushed through everything and seemed annoyed the whole time, which was such a joy, obviously. I get that places can be busy, but it would’ve been nice to feel like I wasn’t a huge inconvenience just for being there.

"Order was mostly fine, but the color mix-up confused me"
My order showed up on time, which was great, but one pair was a totally different color than what I picked. I was kind of confused because everything else in the order was right, so I’m not really sure how that one got mixed up. It wasn’t a huge deal, just a little annoying. Customer service did get it sorted out after a few emails, so it worked out in the end.

"Could’ve Been Cleaner"
I’ll just say the place didn’t exactly give off the cleanest vibe. Maybe my standards are unreasonable, but I do generally expect things to look sanitary when I’m a customer.

"I was trying to look at earrings…"
I was trying to look at earrings and maybe book an appointment, but the website made it harder than it needed to be. It looked nice, but on my phone it was slow and kind of all over the place. A few pages took too long to load, and I had to tap around way too much just to find basic info. it felt like an avoidable hassle. I ended up getting annoyed and left before finishing

"Not as much variety as I expected"
I was expecting a lot more styles based on how it was presented, but the jewelry selection felt limited once I actually looked through it. A lot of the pieces seemed kind of similar, so it didn’t really match the variety I thought I was going to get. Some of it was cute, for sure, but there just weren’t enough options for me to find something I really wanted.

"Thought These Would Be Fine, But Nope"
I assumed these would be okay, but they still made my ears itchy quickly. I gave them a try anyway, but I’m guessing they’re just not great for sensitive ears

"Not as comfortable as they used to be"
I used to have better luck with these, but this pair just didn’t feel the same. They got uncomfortable quickly, and I couldn’t wear them for very long.

I don’t think I was expecting anything special, just basic courtesy, but the staff really came across as annoyed and cold. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it didn’t feel very welcoming at all

"I really wanted to like Rowan, but…"
I really wanted to like Rowan, but my piercing placement just didn’t come out right. One side is a little higher and more forward than the other, and you can definitely see it when I wear small studs and stuff like that. I mentioned it afterward, but it kind of felt like it was brushed off, which was frustrating. For something that’s supposed to be measured carefully and all that, I expected better. Now I’m probably going to have to let it close and get it redone somewhere else.

"Healing Took Forever"
My ear took way longer to heal than they told me it would. It was still sore weeks later, which was frustrating. The aftercare info they gave me felt super basic too, like these jokers just handed me the bare minimum and called it a day

"Lots of Replies, No Real Help"
Customer service kept responding, but it felt like they were just trying to look helpful without actually fixing anything. I went back and forth with them and still ended up with the same problem. At this point, I don’t really trust that support is there to resolve issues, just to send polite replies.

"Mostly Clean, But a Few Things Stood Out"
Overall, the place seemed clean, and I did notice the tools looked sterile, which is always the main thing I look for. But I tend to pick up on little patterns when it comes to cleanliness, and the waiting area felt a bit cluttered compared to the treatment area. The bathroom also wasn’t the best, so that kind of made the overall hygiene feel a little uneven. Not a bad experience, but I was expecting things to feel more consistently clean throughout.

"Frustrating and Inconsistent Support"
I had a really disappointing experience with Rowan’s customer service. I reached out with what I thought was a simple question, but it took days to get a response, and when they finally replied it felt like a generic copy-and-paste answer that didn’t actually solve anything. What made it even more frustrating was that the answers weren’t consistent — one response seemed to say one thing, then another made it sound different, so I was left even more confused. I don’t mind waiting a little if someone is actually helping, but being left in the dark and getting mixed responses is really annoying. I wouldn’t use them again.

I was glad to get an appointment set up, but it was really frustrating when the times kept changing on me. It made the whole experience feel stressful and a little disappointing.
